An eco-friendly self catering apartment located in North Leitrim. Situated in an araea of stunning scenery, rich in archaeological and heritage sites, ideal for hill-walking, fishing and cycling.
Tawnylust Lodge is a perfect retreat to just come and observe tha natural world. teh tranquil location is aideal for wreiters, artists or anyone wishing to take time out an denjoy nature in a peaceful haven. This is a rel place of retreat where you can come and do nothing except enjoy your surroundings both inside and out. If you want to get 'out and about' we offer various packages working with local guides who operate to ecotourism principles.
We provide a 'welciome box' for guests which includes locally produced preserves, organic cereals etc.
Accommodation is comprised of a one bedroom apartment with ensuite and a double studio bed. Bedroom can have single or double beds. Premisise sos fully wheelchair accessible and children catered for.
Available at Tawnylust Lodge or locally are the following activities:
Mushroom and foraging guided walks, Hill-walking, Archaeology trips, Tai-chi, Craft weekends, Pot-holing, Golf, Water sports, Massage, Fishing and Cycling, guides/tutors available for all.
Tawnylust Lodge operates to a high environmental standard. We strive to minimise the adverse impact of our activities and to continuoulsy improve our environmental performance ensuring the sustainability of our actions. Guests are encouraged to take part in these activites also.
